Sleek Eyeshadow Palette in Storm

Sleek has really made its name in the makeup industry as a budget friendly yet surprisingly excellent quality quality cosmetic makers. I find that their blushes and eyeshadow palettes surpass the likes of MAC and Nars easily. And the selection of the colors is to die for...each and every shade is deeply pigmented and transference is phenomenal.

After a lot of deliberation I decided to get this particular palette in i-Divine Storm. It was a close call between the au Natural one and the one I ended up getting. I felt this one will give me the most options, indeed it is a universal palette with all your eyeshadow needs all packed up neat and tidy in a 'sleek' palette.

Price: Available from 100-120 dhs online, additional delivery charges apply.

Packaging: Thin palette with a large mirror inside, 12 eyeshadows shades reside inside is all types of finishes making it one of the most versatile palettes out there.

The shades don't have names

Product: Each shade is soft and buttery. The high shimmer and satin finishes have more fall out than the matte ones but they are more deeply pigmented than them. The matte shades, although very nice and buildable are not as richly pigmented as the other shades. The color variety is very good, except for a purple all other basic shades are there, but then purple would not be a 'stormy' color  would it...

Lets go through the first half of the palette first:

Mostly neutrals....

Corresponding swatches

The first color is a neutral gold with a satin finish. This would be ideal for a wash of color all over the lid or as an inner corner highlight.

The next color is a neutral silver with a metallic high shine finish. Be careful with this one, again it can be used all over the eyelid or inner corner or with an extremely light hand use it on the high planes of your face.

The next color is a light dirty brown and completely matte. Since it is so close to my skin tone it hardly shows up in the swatch. Its a great blending out color.

At the bottom is a deep brown but it has strong red under tones. This makes it a warmer shade. Its so beautiful in a smoky eye or to warm up the crease.

Next to that is you gun metal color. Its a satin finish. Its a cool tone, also lovely for a smoky eye.

The last shade is a deep green color with a satin finish. Go all out and use it on you eyelid, or use it as a liner shade with a slightly damp brush or sweep it lightly under your lower lid for a twist.

Corresponding swatches

Starting of with a more intense gold with more yellow tones. This paired with green or blue makes for an amazing combo. It is a metallic finish.

The next color reminds me of MAC's All That Glitters but better. Its a  satin finish with a nice sheen and its a lovely light pink. Just brush it across you lids and some mascara..you're good to go.

This is a very unique shade. Its a light maroon and its good used every which way. On your lid, in your crease, as the outer third color, its very pretty and I love experimenting with it.

On the bottom is the blue shade. Its a satin finish and can be used just like the green I mentioned above.

Another matte shade. This one is a deeper brown. Again can use this as a contouring shade for the crease or to blend out a more intense shade.

And last but not least, a matte black. Every palette needs one right. Now though its is matte, its not the blackest of blacks, but good enough. Its great to intensify the outer V or as a liner shade.

Other eyeshadow palette from this company are on my wish list as are some blushes and the highlight/contour palette. I have reviewed their all famous 'Rose Gold ' blush as well.

If you're looking to buy one economical yet versatile good quality eyeshadow palette go for this one!
