My Perfect Shade of Fuchsia

With Spring right around the corner, I was looking around my lip colors looking to upgrade accordingly. I had done my perfect shade of red earlier, but red is a classic color, ideal all year round. For spring you look to more bright vibrant colors depicting the awakening of mother nature from her winter slumber. Flower buds breaking though and the sun that begins to reveal its true self from behind the murky clouds.

Keeping that festive mood in mind, I remembered this particular lip color that was just waiting to be pulled out from the makeup bag and put into plain sight to be used. It was a recent buy, but it got tucked away during the winter, and though it of course it would be nice with a subdued eye makeup in winter (which I actually do like), in spring, pairing it with pastels or colorful liner would be interesting too. I should mention I am a big fan of this entire range.

Packaging: Sleek black bullet with the all famous Kate Moss signature on the cap. A little red heart makes for a cute embellishment. The cap snaps firmly shut and the black casing makes it easy to dig out from your stash.

Product:

• The color is highly pigmented and this particular shade does stain your lips slightly.
• The smell is pleasant but it is strong. I don't mind it and it wears off gradually.
• The lipstick is creamy and long lasting. It does not have a drying effect on my lips. It lasts about 4-5 hours with no touch up required, light snacking involved.
• You can wear it full on by applying it directly to your lips or apply it with your fingers for a more stained effect. You can apply gloss over it for more impact or even mix it up with a color that you may have that makes you look dead. For a more matte look, apply a couple of times and blot in between applications.

Swatch....a bright bold pink with no shimmer, no glitter....just a lot of color.

This is perfect fuchsia shade, and if Spring is your thing, then this will make for a sweet addition in your makeup collection.
