How I Cover my Under Eye Circles

Just like so many women out there, I suffer from extreme darkness under my eyes. Reasons range from lack of sleep to sinusitis to plain old genetics.

Literally no amount of used tea bags,  potato and cucumber slices, huge array of under eye creams or any other magical concoction has done jack to alleviate the issue.

The only thing to do then is to take help from concealers, but not simply concealers but correctors to be more precise.

Its pretty simple really:

Most of us have darkness under the eyes that have bluish or greenish undertones.  For this you will need a corrector that is peach toned.

If your under eye circles are reddish or pinkish then you will need a green based corrector.

Lastly if they are simply grey then a more pink based corrector would do it.

If your issue is really not that bad, then simple concealer a shade darker than your foundation will do it.

I belong to the first category and this is what I do..

Step 1: Hydrate your face. The moisturiser wil help the product go on smoothly.  If creasing is a problem then apply primer under the eyes.

Step 2: Apply Bobbi Brown corrector in Peach.

Notice the peach tones

Step 3: After patting the above product in with my ring finger in a thin layer,  I apply the Bourjois concealer in light beige.

The product is a shade lighter than the foundation I would use. This brightens.

This is what both products look like:

Now both products layered eliminate the darkness and blue green tones of fine capillaries.

Do this after applying eyeshadow for a cleaner application.  Top it of with setting powder.

And that is how it's done ladies.

HONORARY MENTION:

There is a product called Forget It 3 in 1 concealer by Essence.  It has all three tones of correctors. Its not Bobbi Brown but for the price its a decent alternative.

Peach, green and pink correctors in one packaging.

Hope this was helpful. There will be more tips and reviews coming your way soon.
