Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Crush

2013 was the year of the giant chubby pencils....all products were taking this convenient, cutely packaged form....eyeshadows, lip products, concealers, contouring and highlighting products and who knows what else. So having heard about the hype about these Revlon Balms, I thought I should also dip into the pool of the jumbo pencils. And it wasn't difficult to do, let me tell you that.

The marketing was intense, the blogosphere was rampant with positive reviews and everyone was clambering to get one. And the colors...oh the colors!!!

Does that seriously not want you to reach out and grab a few?

Price: Ranges from 45 to 60 dhs depending on where you buy.

Packaging: It's a plastic tube, with little metallic twist ups at one end. The color of the stick depicts the color of the product inside, except that the product is a shade or two darker. It has a regular plastic cap and has decent amount of product..about 2.7 grams.

Product: Don't be deceived by the very dark colored product, it goes on more sheer and gives a lovely long lasting, slightly glossy lips that feel soft and hydrated. It has a strong minty smell which did kind of bother me at first, since I am not a fan of minty smelling products, but the balm itself won me over, and besides, the smell just about goes away in about 15 or so minutes.

Even after the balm  is gone, the stain of the color is left behind giving you that natural pop of color.

This particular crush is more autumn/winter appropriate, but makes for a great vampy lip without over doing it.

This is a nice product to add for those who are lippy junkies.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and color payoff of these.
