My Best Coral Blushes- Drugstore Edition

Come spring, its time to break out the coral blushes. I'm not kidding when I say the drugstore brands have been killing it with innovative new products, blushes being the foremost product that are just as good as the higher end versions. So for you reading pleasure I present to you my all time favorite blushes in the coral color family from your local drugstore brands.

And the unveiling....

Top L to R: Flormar Blush in no. 90, Rimmel 111 Coral, NYX Mosaic Powder in 12 Dare
Bottom L to R: Max Factor Blush in 235 Chestnut, Maybelline 45 Apricot Flush

Generally speaking, these powder blushes all range from the 40 to 60 dhs price range which is just a fraction of what higher end blushes are worth.

As far as quality goes, I think these are all just as good if not better than their department store counterparts.

Below are the respective swatches and a brief description of the finish of these blushes:

FLORMAR BLUSH: This is a lovely muted satiny coral that is so buttery in texture that you have to feel it to believe it. It has the most gorgeous subtle glow. It is extremely finely milled. It's wear is decent enough. It should last you the bulk of the working day.

RIMMEL BLUSH: This one is a more intense coral, more brighter with slight orange undertones. It is almost matte...just almost. This one will give you a nice fresh pop of color and paired with coral lips this will look even more beautiful.

NYX MOSAIC POWDER: I've done a special blog post on these powders by NYX (click here). This is a coral with more pink undertones, its quite neutral so it will look brilliant with all types of looks, and the sheen on this will give you that extra wow factor.

MAX FACTOR BLUSH: This one is a dusky coral and again it has a hint of warmth in there. Just a no fuss color that you can easily swipe on any time any wear, very natural finish.

MAYBELLINE BLUSH: Last but not the least, a surprisingly amazing dual finish coral blush. This is a true coral with a shimmery gold sheen radiating from within it. The texture of this one seems rough, but this feeling does not transfer on the skin. This is one my all time favorite blushes. You wont need a highlighter with this.

That pretty much rounds it up. Hope this was informative and if you're in the market for a nice coral shade for the season, give these a try.

Do you have any favorite coral shaded blushes? Do let me know.
