Color Studio Professional Powder Brush

Brushes (tools) matter. They do. Found out through personal experience. Good news is, they don't necessarily have to be expensive to deliver on performance. Having said that, I am always on the lookout for a nice brush. You can pretty much imagine my excitement when my sister pointed out this sweet innocent looking stall at the mall the other day. She told me their brushes were well known, not expensive and very good quality. I was a little skeptic, and went up for closer inspection. As it dawned on me my sister was right, I turned around and gave her an accusatory look as if to say, "And you are telling me this just now... what is wrong with you girl?" There was a display on a vertical rack with all types of makeup brushes and nail art tools. Since I was already hunting for a good big powder brush, I picked up the one on display. The brand name is Color Studio Professional and is easily available here in Pakistan.

Dome Powder Face Brush by Color Studio Professional

Price: 1000 Pak Rupees

Packaging: Not that it matters much in terms of brushes since you throw it away, but the brush does come with a guard to maintain the shape of the bristles.

Product: The brush is not very light weight, feels expensive in the hand. I find the length and thickness of the handle very convenient and the dual fibers are synthetic taklon. The brush has a good density going on, and applies powder/blush/bronzer flawlessly. The bristles are neither too hard that they scratch your face, but they are not hopelessly limp either that the job can't get done. In fact, this brush reminds me a lot of the Sigma brushes.

Marks: A total hit in my books.. 10/10
