Can an Eyeshadow Palette be More Than Just an Eyeshadow Palette?

Do you ever think, "How am I ever going to hit pan on my super expensive Urban Decay eyeshadow palettes?" If you have, and if you are are the proud owner of the Urban Decay Vice 3 Palette (or any of the Vice palettes), you'll consider reading this post.

Here are a few suggestions on how to use this particular palette in a variety of different ways.



1. Use it to contour and bronze: Using the colours Undone or DTF or a combination of both depending on your skin colour, you can effectively chisel your cheek bones. Downfall is a just a beaut to bronze up.

2. Blush: Two colours- Alien and Alchemy or a combination of both! Amazing!

Alien (for lighter skin tones)
Alchemy (for darker skin tones)

3. Highlighter: One of the most gorgeous shades to use on the high planes of your face for that subtle lit from within look- Last Sin.

4. Mattifying lipstick: Coral/ Peach lipsticks that all the rage these days, can be dusted with the pigments of the eyeshadow to set or mattify lisptick. It gives a cools 3D effect. The winner for this: Sonic.

5. As Eyeliner: Take your slanted/ eyeliner brush, wet it, dip in any of the darker/ brighter shades and use as an eyeliner! I mean how gorgeous are these?

In essence, any big palette with a variety of shades and finishes can be used in a similar way. Hope this inspires you to really cash in on those under utilized palettes lying on your vanity!
