Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in 04 Peach Club

These are old news now, but I couldn't pass off not not owning at least one of these babies especially when they were on sale. When these first came out there were rave reviews, nobody had anything bad to say about them, and the packaging was also to die for. The color selection is somewhat limited, but even within the 8 colors they have, there is something for everyone from pinks to reds to peach, and they are all matte.

The one that I ended up bringing home was the bright corally peach one. This color is somewhat out of my comfort zone, but life is short right?

Price: Around 75 but on sale for 48 dhs.

Packaging: Very sleek, glass casing, doe foot applicator. Closes firmly shut, you can feel the click but not hear it. The lid depicts the color of the product. The doe foot applicator is a bit small so you have to go in a few times, but on the upside it really does apply very well with precision.

Product: This product dries to an almost powder finish, hence the velvety matte texture. They smell alright, not great, but okay, extremely comfortable without drying out my lips, They wear for an extremely long time, and can be either worn very lightly as a stain or layered up it can give the most opaque vibrant look. The product sets in quickly and then doesn't budge. I'm super impressed, hoping to pick up the nude one too. This peach shade is just lovely on medium skin tones, paired with a slight smoky eye. However I found that it comes off brighter than it actually looks in the tube after setting. It is quite unique from anything I have in my stash. Still very very pretty. Definitely a great shade to have.
