The verdict is in- this is officially the best universal natural blush...ever! First impressions are not always the last impressions, because when I first saw it, the first thought that came to mind was that how in the world would such a color even show up on my medium skin tone. But it did, and it was just love at first try. This is my first Benefit boxed blush and I get the whole craze behind them.
Price: On the pricey side at about 170 dhs.
Packaging: I have to say, it always looked bigger in the picture. I was a little surprised at how small it looked, and just five grams...but the box is made of sturdy cardboard with a cool print that says Rockateur. The powder has a protective plastic sheet that serves as a holder for the brush as well. The brush itself is nothing much to look at, and at first glance I thought it wouldn't work well at all with its bristles being a little bit on the stiff side, but it actually fared quite well. Since this is a subtle blush this brush helps build it up.

The box has a nice little mirror, and the brush has a plastic holder that protects the blush.
Product: The blush is very finely milled, smooth to apply, blends evenly and easily and it has no fall out. There is a subtle minty floral smell that is quite pleasant. The color looks like a neutral pink, it doesn't appear to have any warm or cool undertones that makes it universal. Any skin tone will look naturally flushed with this blush. There is a very thin overlay of fine shimmer, but this goes away with a couple of uses, in reality this blush is not shimmery, but it's not completely matte either- my favorite type of blush. The blush also lasts a decent amount of time, at least 4 to 5 hours without touching up, but because it is on the lighter side you may need to retouch after that.
A little bit of the overlay is left.....close up
A stronger swatch on the left that is blended out towards the right.
If I run out of this one, it will be a repurchase! Definitely worth splurging over. This has now made it to the top of my favorites list.
